I want to eat their Shades of Summer salad ALL THE TIME. It comes with pickled eggs, a bacon slab, and gobs of fresh veg. I love to lunch here with my mom, and I usually have a little kid with me too. The staff is very accommodating. Their outdoor seating is particularly lovely. The gardening details make me so happy. Love to see all that beauty!

We absolutely loved all the food we ordered: get the bacon!! It's the best! We had the beets, the fries and THE BACON as appetizers, a salad, a pulled pork sandwich and steak as our main. Everything was delicious and fresh. Highly recommend this place. Thanks to the stranger that told us to try it, best suggestion!

We really love this place. The food is so good and they always have something new. I highly recommend the burger. It is so tasty and that piece of bacon on it is amazing. The salads are also very tasty and have veggies from their own farm.

Best farm to table brunch in town. Try the CSA hash and the if you must. Always amazing specials on the chalk board as well. They also sell frozen meat and awesome hot sauces. Nothing but good things to say about this place!

The food was really good. Quite pricy compared to the food amount and quality. Reason for losing two stars is that The server forgot my coffee, knocked my knife of the table but never brought me either one of them.

The greens they offer as a side are very tasty. I also like that they offered an egg white omelette as the omelette of the day. The bacon here comes thick cut, and very tasty. In the summer/spring there is a cozy outdoor seating that's dog friendly. Expect it to be busy, it's a local favorite spot.

This was my third time eating here and I’ll go back again. Servers were fun and friendly. Despite being very busy, we felt the attention we received was perfect. Food was delicious, especially the Butternut Squash Bruschetta and the bacon. Trust me...You’ll need to buy bacon to take home. Only downfall, which they cannot help, is due to how popular they are the place is packed and moving from table to door is hard. Love eating here any season, but summer is best as it’s more spacious with the patio open for dining. Thanks for the great food, Wise Acre!

Get the Bacon! The bacon is absolutely delicious. If duck is on the menu, it is amazing too! My only complaint is that duck isn't always on the menu, but that can't be helped with the farm to table set up they have going here. It's a bit pricey too, but the food is over all worth it! Give this place a try.

We keep finding excuses to go back to this place. Love their drink menu, have always had great service, and the food is consistently good. (Try the cauliflower when in season)

As someone who is gluten free and mostly dairy free, eating out is challenge. This place was amazing! Service was friendly and beyond helpful. Food was all Divine. It warmed my soul, succulent pork, beautiful greens, perfect eggs. And 3 choices of gluten free sweets. Eat here. Eat here often.

It's a small place that used to be an old filling station. As such, it has a quirky charm. They can open the "garage doors" in the summer to give it a nice outdoor feel. They pride themselves on serving farm fresh food. The food was good. We were served some complementary curried popcorn and I liked my salad. I had the pepper crusted steak "Steak au Poivre". It was good and flavorful, but maybe just a bit tough - could have been just that particular serving though I suppose. The sides that came with the meal were also excellent and well seasoned. My wife had the chicken and absolutely loved it and would get it again. They have a decent selection of beer and wine. I ordered the red wine flight and liked it. All in all I liked it and would go back.

Great, locally sourced restaurant. Small bar (4 seats) and pretty tight quarters, but it's a local gem. The chicken pot pie was delicious and very different.

Yum! How many times have you been served green beans and you don't want to share them because they're so good? Delicious food. Can't wait to come back.

Wise Acre is a great spot. It is a South Minneapolis staple! They have plenty of parking available and if the lot is full, then plenty of nearby street parking. They are a farm to table restaurant that provides the freshest ingredients. I was impressed with their menus (both drink and food). Each had a variety of meals and flavors that had something for everyone. This place has a lot of versatility. It is a spot to take your kids or it can be a first date place. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and the flavors. The food came out in a timely manner and tasted great!

Eggs Benedict was a hit! I truly enjoyed the citrus pulled pork instead of ham. The hollandaise was enough to cover the meat, which kept it moist. Definitely coming back!

One of my absolute favorite finds! Had brunch here with bubbly mimosas and delectable french toast. Also enjoyed a slab of bacon (this is Ron Swanson certified slab-o-bacon), egg scramble, corn bread and potatoes.

The best restaurant in Minneapolis, hands down! The food is locally grown, and you can truly taste the difference. I moved away from Minneapolis but have to go back every time I’m in town for The hash, the bacon, and the French toast. The chefs clearly take their time when making the menus, and there are some really fun flavor combinations in their dishes. You will pay more than an average restaurant that gets their food frozen from Sysco, but you get what you pay for-and feel good about supporting LOCAL and keeping your dollar in the community!

We have always loved dining at Wise Acres . Now that has been taken away from us, we decided to order take out. We also ordered fresh food to add to our fridge. The take out food was delicious. We picniced by Minnehaha Parkway and took our fresh food home. The lettuce was fresh & delicious. Thank you Wise Acres for helping us enjoy an afternoon safely away from home. We will definitely be back!

After leaving the Mall of America, we were looking for a farm to table restaurant in the area. Wise Acre lived up to our expectations! And then some!!Highland cattle farmed meat, everything they serve has been raised, farmed or locally grown. The food was wonderful, a Foodie destination! We enjoyed their house made / special chili and burger with fries, soooo good

Very, very good. Seemed like every dish we ordered had a surprising flavor. The charcuterie plate had some of the most phenomenal dijon mustard, but the maple cheese held the surprise. The mushroom shared plate was our favorite bite, easily . The braised nettles were great with the steak. And the parmasean-grape custard was shockingly great. The only downside, and this is minor, was the super light and slippery plates. Trying to cut the pork chop was an act of reserved agression; cut too hard and you risk throwing the plate across the restaurant. Regardless, we will easily go back.

Love how small, cozy and quaint this place is. It does limit seating (& parking!) and can get a bit loud. Go to brunch for upbeat and sunlight filled atmosphere or go for dinner with a romantic vibe promoted with candlelight. That leads to the wonderful and tasty farm to table menu, array of options (GF, V etc), innovative drinks, lovely bake goods and one of the only places with multiple organic wines available!

Nice place, I just didn't love what I got. I had the burger and fries, which cost $17.50, and it was just ok. I also had a furious in the can for $7.50.

Came here on a random whim of what was close by and open for breakfast. Place is a bit tiny but friendly and inviting. The bar/vine decor was interesting. They even sell bacon, eggs and butter ( I believe that was correct, among many other things to take home with you after you eat). Their food comes from their own local garden, they even have a meter that shows the percentage of today's food grown locally. Food was great and filling, only thing would be the root veg needed to be cooked a little longer, hard crunch still.

Food was excellent. Every bite was magnificent, tasty, and better for the environment. While a little spendy for an everyday eatery, this is definitely a place to go to for special occasions, or the occasional night out. Craft beer selection was decent, but could use a little conformity with their excellent menu. Service was fast and friendly.

Delicious and fresh! I got one of their signature breakfast scrambles which was filled with a perfectly cooked slice of bacon and locally sourced farm fresh veggies. I went in the early spring and will be returning once it is warm for a delicious outdoor meal on the patio.

We have been wanting to go here for quite some time. It did not disappoint. beautifully designed place. Even the bathrooms were decorated beautifully. Lots of outdoor seating. Great enthusiastic staff. Everyone helped all even with special request. Small menu but great home growing choices. And to top it off, we had a little spicy chocolate frozen custard that was delicious! We had to buy a pound of their special bacon to go. check out Tangletown Nursery right across the street affiliated with it. Simply stunning place. Their fruits and vegetables are grown in Plato Minnesota. Cannot wait to go back.

Delicious! The food was amazing, fresh and locally sourced. The cafe is cozy and inviting, the staff was helpful and friendly. I went with a friend around lunch time on Saturday and they were busy but our wait time was only 10-15 min. My friend has Celiac's and they don't have a designated gluten free fryer (so she couldn't have the French fries or fried potatoes) but there were still enough options to choose from that were still very enjoyable. They do make their own gluten free bread as well which is really nice. And seriously their bacon was amazing!!

Service was very slow and the food was not hot when it arrived. The food tasted pretty good but it probably would have been much better hot. They weren't very busy when we were there so it was disappointing.
